Payroll giving is a direct deduction from your salary. It is deducted before tax, so it actually costs you less to give more. A donation of £5 would only cost you £3.90 at the standard tax rate. The easiest way to use payroll Giving is by the CAF Give as You Earn service. If your employer already uses Give As You Earn, all you have to do is to let your payroll department know that you want to participate. You give them the details of how much you want to give and and tell them it is for Women at Risk, and they sort out the rest.
